The Udaipur Chapter

16 March-
So, here we are all thrilled and exited for this whole trip. After about 3 hours bus stopped at some dhaba. Except kunal and dubey who were not hungry, we all wanted to eat something. But this dhaba cheated all passengers including us with their huge prices for curries. They not even had the menus before and no one of them telling the prices. OK, this trip started very bad as we all had a limited budget. We did complain on consumer court site, just to throw our anger and hoped everything is going to be fine from now.

17 March-
A beautiful weather it was, cloudy but not raining. I was just watching this beautiful city through the windows of the bus.
Soon we arrived at about 5 in the morning. We step out of the bus and all we watched is a lot of hotels everywhere and autos. Good for us that we don't have to choose one as room was already booked. The first auto driver we asked knew our hotel and dropped us there which was at just walking distance. We checked into hotel, got two average rooms. None of us had any complain about rooms as we were staying at such a low price thanks to kanak who found a lot of refer coupons.
The first thing is now to contact the bike rental agency. Kartik called them and got the address which was not far from the hotel. Everyone was getting ready meanwhile I and kartik had a walk near the area, had some tea and got some nice dabeli for everyone.
After bath Kunal(my cousin and roommate), Kartik, dubey(Yatendra dubey!) and Yash searched for the agency and from where the man who was providing us the bike has taken them to his home in his car meanwhile rest of us were just waiting. After about half an hour they returned with two pulsar and two scooties. We decide after some altercations with each other that I am going to ride scooty with ladda(Abhishek ladda!), dubey on second scooty with yash, Prakash and kunal are going to ride pulsars with Kartik and Kanak respectively. We all drove off to our first destination...

The Planning Part

February 2015-
                                  Our college fest is going to be organised next month and none of my Hostel buddies are involved in it. Two year has passed of our engineering but still had done none of trips outside the Jaipur.
Now one evening the same new(only the place change every time) idea of a trip during renaissance(our college fest) has came from Vinayak(one of my two roommates). This time a trip to Udaipur and Mount Abu. Is this idea also going to fail?
About everyone in hostel is busy in the event, some are volunteers some are the coordinators and rest were participants except the few who were above this Moh Maya and this include us and some few others.
Now this is the time we have to got an answer why are we not interested in the college event. As our gang is not discussing anything about college fest, all we were talking about is how to make this trip happen. The first thing is to get the permissions from parents. Now here the irony is all of us get the permission except Vinayak who originally planned this whole idea. Now  the only thing left is to do planning of this trip.

March 2015-
"Bike pe ghumne ka alag hi maza hai" I said. OK then lets roam around udaipur on bikes Kartik told us, who knew roads of udaipur very well. We already gathered a lot of coupons on hotel booking sites by refer ourselves and many relatives, an easy job for a typical engineer.
 
At least 8 people were going, anyways we were going to make that number even coz it's a bike trip.
How we are going to get Four bikes in Udaipur is the big question now. All doing calls to their udaipur wale friends but none got the number of any agency or bikes. Now only option was Goggle baba, we searched on net and did found a lot of numbers. Some of them were off bike rental business, some were switched off and some were only providing Bullet which was out of budget.
The most important issue was that all of them were asking high advance money. We were just students can't pay 25 or 30k. At last after 3-4 days of searching we finally found our best option.
One of the agency were providing bikes at the cost of Rs. 4000 advance money for the 2 pulsars and 2 scootey, this was really affordable for all of us.
We declared this trip's date exactly same as that of the renaissance 16 to 20 march. We all gathered our belongings, did some shopping and booked bus ticket for udaipur. All updated their status(going to udaipur Feeling excited! with 7 others). Our bus is going to departure at around 10 pm. We reached by cab,got some snacks for bus and were all ready to departure.
